Hello again! And yes I am still banging on about my Twist Out (part one) but here we get to the Finished Product! Just a quick disclaimer before I get into this, I am looking miserable a lot here but I guess I was so focused on the hair in the pics, I forgot to smile!
A little while ago, I mentioned that I thought I was on my way to getting the right combo of products and methods to detangle my kids hair. Well here’s a little detangling update.
A little while, like 8 months ago, so not that little, I was planning on starting a series on detangling. I was particularly exasperated at the time with all 3 kids hair. If it wasn’t for the crying and childhood trauma it would likely cause, I’d do to theirs what I did to mine. In a heartbeat. Shave it all off! But maybe I’ve found something that works?
I’ve been at this hair journey for 27 months now. Twenty-Seven whole months! It feels like such a long time but it’s gone so fast, it feels like no time at all.
And we’re in the final stretch of styles I’m never going to try but I’m going to try to try them. You get what I’m saying, right? Have you had a chance to try any of the styles from part 1 or part 2 yet? I haven’t but there’s a whole year ahead…to not try them.

Another quarter of the year has gone which means it’s time for another update! Hair. It’s the thing that grows on your head, that helps keep the heat in, that can add another dimension to a look. And when you lose it, voluntarily like me, you re-think what it means to you. You think about a lot of stuff really. In fact, you just realise that hair is more than just hair.
Damn that tube looks like it’s seen some things. Bashed to hell, the label coming off in my hand every time I touch it. I have to admit that I’m a bit on the fence about how important curl patterns are to me and my kids. Sometimes its a thing that bothers me. Other days I’m just grateful that all of my little people stayed still long enough for me to spritz their hair. First and foremost, I’m interested in all of our hair being properly moisturised. Healthy hair will look good and that is ultimately the goal. Healthy hair.…
