I may or may not have made it clear by this point that I’m quite partial to a bit of Beyonce.
LINK TO THE VIDEO This is probably the most modern song I’ve added to the playlist for a while.
LINK TO THE VIDEO Wow, this song is old!
LINK TO THE VIDEO I remember when Lily Allen came out. I also remember the word chav being banded about quite a lot too.
LINK TO THE VIDEO It was a long, long time ago but I remember going to Creamfields with my friend Heather and seeing a few acts.
LINK TO THE VIDEO There was a time when the battle lines were drawn and you had to either like the Backstreet Boys or NSync.
LINK TO THE VIDEO I was lucky enough to see the Arctic Monkeys at Glastonbury when they were touring their first album. I’ve seen quite a few bands live but honestly this set was one of the best.

I wasn’t a fan but a night out in Yorkshire with one of my very good, old friends, a gig and lots of alcohol, I was in! It didn’t take long for me to become a fan, about 10 minutes into the concert. They were so different live than what I’d heard on the radio.

I can’t quite get with Trance or Death Metal but pretty much everything in between I can appreciate for what it is.

It’s my birthday month so it’s time to party rather than be merry. One of my biggest memories with this song was how my little girl singing “hot damn!” every time this came on.
