Just a quick update on my product hoard. I have added to it but I had to? Yes, that is supposed to be a question 😂 and yes I used the cry laugh emoji because I am that old!

Not too long ago, I told you about trying to end my product junkie ways. Props to me because I haven’t  bought any hair products since the end of October. I’m very proud of myself but it also illustrates how many products I had.

Damn! That picture is really saying a thousand words with those thousand products! Okay, so there aren’t a thousand products there but I dread to think how much money is just lying on my bed! Hi, my name is Lee and I am a product junkie. But I don’t want to be anymore.

As you know, I’m having a moratorium on buying new products from November 2020 to the end of 2021. But I couldn’t go out without a couple of splurges from my September and October pay days. I am a product junkie after all! And by the way, ew, “splurges” is such a gross word!

Have you heard of British Curlies? Well, if you haven’t it’s unfortunately too late. They’ve closed down. So I made the most of that and got myself some goodies. I don’t know if by the time this post is published whether the shop will still have stock but give it a go – Shop British Curlies.

I am a product junkie, I admit it. I think I’ve said it a few times on this blog, Instagram, Twitter, pretty much anywhere I get the chance to. But I have to say I was very reserved on our recent family trip to Florida. It was my first trip to the USA and I always thought if I ever had the chance to go, I would go crazy in the shops. Like bankrupt myself crazy! I don’t know if it was because it was so late in the trip, because it was Wal-Mart or because I knew my product cupboard…

I am in no ways promoting that #productjunkielife but I’m sort of promoting that product junkie life! I did a post like this last year and I haven’t used all of those products so the fact my stocks have been replenished is…amazing! I’m not gonna lie. So excited to try these products too and add them to the Woeful To FroFull Product Cupboard of Wonders. #ProductJunkiesUnite !!!!

I actually meant to write this post at the beginning of the year but I suppose the procrastinator in me has reared her ugly head a little bit. Better late than never I suppose. It’s time to let out my inner product junkie.

Hopefully you’ve found yourself here from Part 1, if not, head on back! To recap, I like to mash up products that aren’t working for me. Or that I just want to get rid of but feel they need a little extra oomph from products I actually like. And that’s how I ended up mixing up these random things.

What is a product mashup? I hear you ask. Well, it’s what happens when I get bored. Basically when I don’t like a product, I won’t throw it away because I am my father’s daughter. I don’t know if it’s a Nigerian thing, a Dad thing or just how he is but he keeps everything. Broken things, things we don’t need, things we don’t want.
