It’s so hard these days to dedicate a whole post to one product the way I used to, so I don’t anymore 😁. Here’s a rundown of my first impressions of a few random products I’ve tried since I started my blog and this healthy hair journey way back in November 2016.

Wash Day Notes: Sometime From October 2020
So it was a bit optimistic to think that I would be able to do a blog post about my wash days every few weeks. Yea…no, that’s not going to happen. This feature will definitely be a once in a while sort of thing. But this one is kind of special. Because I’m using generic shampoo and conditioner, or more specifically, gift set Shampoo and Conditioner. Extra special due to it’s mundanity. Enter Baylis & Harding. Who else gets these gift sets every Christmas? 🎅🏾🎄🎅🏾
End Of Tube Review: nuud Natural “Deodorant”
The best deodorant I ever used was Mitchum Deodorant but that has aluminium in and some of the things people say about that particular ingredient are kind of scary, like actual real life scary not just I’m afraid of ponging a little bit scary. So although some of the claims are not fully substantiated, if I can go natural and not have to worry about that at all, surely that’s the better option. Enter nuud. nuud kept popping up on my timeline and after a little research I thought I’d give it a go.
Wash Day Review: Jim + Henry Small Set
I remember coming across Jim + Henry very early on in my healthy hair journey. I’m not sure when the other products were introduced to the brand but I clearly remember seeing Eight and thinking, wow! That’s the kind of hair care I aspire to own and use! And finally, in 2020, it’s mine…mwahahaha!
Speed Reviews
You may have noticed (or not), that there hasn’t been much movement with this blog for a while. Sure, my Song Of The Month posts have still been popping up, but those are scheduled until February 2021. Don’t look at me like that! I went through a very productive period last year. But for the rest of WoefulToFroFull, I don’t know exactly what it’s been – writer’s block, apathy, boredom, my usual procrastination, who knows? But now seems like as good a time as any (with the Pandemic and all) to use “some of my spare time” productively and get some…
End Of Tub Review – Cantu Coconut Curling Cream
I think any product that has Coconut in just has to smell good and the Cantu Coconut Curling Cream is no different.
End of The Range Review: Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla
I’ve recently started doing product reviews again in earnest after quite a substantial gap. The last one was last month, the one before that was December 2018. I’ll try my best to recall all the pertinent facts about the Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla range. I’ve been trying it over the last year and a bit. I know crazy right, who can make a product last that long? Well it’s mainly the shampoo that’s stood the test of time because we’re a co-washing household and I get distracted by other products almost constantly.
End Of Tub Review: Creme Of Nature Coconut Milk Curl Repair Leave-In
This is going to be a short one because it’s been a while since I used this product and a while since I’ve done a product review. Shame on me! Forgive me blog, it’s been 4 months since my last review. Bad blogger! Anyway to the Creme Of Nature tub we go!
SPOTLIGHT: Coconut Oil
I recently reviewed the EDEN BodyWorks Coconut and Shea CoWash and Masque. One of the hero ingredients is obviously Coconut Oil. And any new or old naturalista knows that for a lot of us, Coconut Oil is an essential ingredient. Now while I liked it in the EDEN BodyWorks, me and Coconut Oil have fallen out. It’s gone from Holy Grail to holy fail. Yes I did just say that!
End Of Range Review: EDEN Bodyworks Natural Cleansing CoWash and Hair Masque Treatment
Have you heard of EDEN BodyWorks before? The first time I remember coming across them was in a picture of Farouk James surrounded by their products. And I thought wow! If those products contributed even just 1% to how amazing his hair looks, then surely in the quest of finding my Holy Grail products, they were worth a go!
