I’ve been wanting to include Whitney Houston in my Song Of The Month for so long but it really is hard to pick that one song that encapsulates what she means to me.
I think a lot of people when tasked with this would pick a ballad but I Iove her mid-tempos, this one being her best, in my humble opinion. It was a toss up between the original or the remix on her Greatest Hits but the OG won out.
Such a beautiful singer and even though I could not even match up to 2% of her vocal ability, I know every single word and ad lib on this song, even though I hardly ever actually attempt the wordy bit (you know which bit I mean) out loud!
