End of Bottle Review: Garnier Body Beauty Oil-Infused Nourishing Lotion

I hadn’t really planned on reviewing anything that is used below the neck but I found this and I swear it made me rethink that idea.

I may have been a little biased when choosing this product because it is “oil-infused.” Knowing how good oil is for my hair, this said to me that this must be better than your average lotion. I’m all about oils now, essential oils, oil mixes, sealants, scalp massages etc., so when I saw this, I saw an opportunity to use what had been working on my head to work for my body. I had high hopes, possibly unrealistic expectations and I really, really wanted it to just work for my poor dry skin.

The oils that this product uses are Argan, Macadamia, Almond & Rose, I’ve used them all before except the Rose (and probably not in their rawest or purest form) and was happy to use again. All of these oils have a range of uses and benefits for skin (and hair) so I’ve just compiled a short list of some of the reasons why these oils are great for your skin. The Argan oil can be used as a moisturiser on its own, Macadamia Oil has softening qualities as well as reducing water loss, the Almond contains vitamin A which keeps skin firm and aids in cell production and finally, Rose oil tones and lifts skin. All things you want your moisturiser to do for your skin. And don’t forget that is not an exhaustive list, these oils are pretty fab.

I think a picture speaks a thousands words and the fact that I butchered the bottle to get the last few blobs of cream out speaks volumes.

I can’t quite remember how much I paid for mine, I think between £3 and £4.50 sounds about right. At the time I wrote this post it was retailing  at £6.99 which I am pretty sure I didn’t pay and if my husband is reading this, I definitely didn’t pay. My skin felt amazing after use, it has a luxurious creamy consistency, and there is a stubborn dry patch that I get on one of my upper arms and it completely eradicated it. It left my skin feeling silky smooth and soft. I think it would be a toss-up who had the softest skin between me and a baby’s bottom, the baby would probably still win but I’m now a close runner up.

I don’t think I can recommend this enough because there are lots of sub-par body lotions that I’ve tried in the past but this is a must buy…again!

Let’s keep growing together!
